To: "DigiCC (E-mail)" From: Toby A Inkster Date: Fri, 20 Oct 2000 13:47:40 +0100 Subject: TREE: 5 European Broadcasts - Leaf Sign-ups I'm now accepting leaf sign-ups for this tree. There are only 27 places available for leaves. As a leaf all you have to do is email your branch with your address - it is not a B+P/trade tree - you will be sent the CDs for free - you don't even need to send your branch blank discs! (You should still be polite though - even more so, indeed) To apply, email me with your full name and your country of residence (and state within the USA). Also in your email, include a self-written haiku... strange request, but in the event of a tie-breaker, I shall judge who gets on the tree by it. For those of you unsure of what a haiku is, it is a short, non-rhyming poem. It consists of three lines adding up to 17 syllables. Usually, the first line is 5 syllables long, the second is 7 and the last is 5 again, but they can be split differently if required. The best haikus will be displayed on the forthcoming tree webpage. This page will also include the tree structure, artwork for the discs, and any further interesting tid-bits. Here are the details of the shows: DISC 1: "Denk aan Henk" October 18th, 1999: 01. When CC was in Copenhagen in March, the concert was supposed to be broadcast on radio, but lawyers from the record company put a stop to that. The radio station, however, talked to CC and they agreed to record the show anyway. This is a copy of that recording. It was never aired, so sound quality should be *better* than that of a regular FM broadcast. HISTORIES: None of these shows are MP3-sourced. All shows on Disc One: FM -> Standalone CD Recorder -> CD-R Disc Two: FM -> ??? -> CD-R. Possible cassette tape intermediate stage, but hey... it's the only copy of this show that I know of. Discs Three & Four: SBD> Pre-FM> unknown DAT> CD-R -- Toby Inkster the digital anti-christ (for all intents and purposes)
